Christianity Deconstructs Racism©

at Saint Francis Springs  |  September 25-27, 2020

LIFE IS HARD. UNDERSTANDING WHY WE HAVE YET TO OVERCOME THE SIN OF RACISM IN AMERICA MAKES IT THAT MUCH HARDER.

John 16:33 – “In this life, you will have trouble.”
● How has racism evolved since the gains of the civil rights movement?
●  How do you react to racial stories and incidents?
● Why haven’t we yet overcome?
●  What role and action should we take in the new millennial movement for justice and equity across the color line? Taking time to consider these questions is critical.  Rev. Dr. Keith Daniel, co-author of Christianity Deconstructs Racism© offers his embodied wisdom and generations of knowledge to our beloved community and friends of St. Francis Springs Prayer Center.   In addition, our own Father David Hyman will share aspects of his personal transformation as a Catholic priest pastoring African-American churches and the profound treasure of his 1,000+ book collection of African-American authors now made available at St. Francis.
