Lakewood Elementary School is looking for trusted bilingual (Spanish-English) volunteers to support our family communication system this year. These volunteers will serve as the main point of contact for 5-10 families at Lakewood Elementary. Approximate time commitment: 2-4 hrs per week

Responsibilities:

• Call at minimum 5 and at maximum 10 families, using a script that will be provided to you, each week. You can let us know how many families you are comfortable taking on.
• Record information from your weekly phone calls in a Google Sheets spreadsheet. In some cases, connect families with the appropriate person on our team to get a question answered if you don’t know the answer.
• Connect with the students’ classroom teachers as necessary to communicate important information regarding their students
• Attend up to one zoom meeting per week
