World Relief Summer Camp

Hope you had a lovely Memorial Day weekend and that your June is off to a strong start. You may have seen in our most recent newsletter, but we are on the lookout for volunteers for our Refugee & Immigrant Summer Enrichment (RISE) Camp this summer and we were hoping you may be able to join us. Read on below for more details!

LOGISTICS

• Dates: 7/12 – 7/29 (Monday through Thursday)
• Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Location: Brogden Middle School

Volunteer job description: We are looking for 8-12 dedicated volunteers who can commit to working in-person for at least 8 days of RISE Camp (but all 12 is even better!). Volunteers will work in small groups of 10-12 kids with at least two other adults to facilitate summer enrichment activities such as English & math practice, science experiments, art activities, and classic camp games. Material will be provided by WR, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own spin and personality to all camp activities planned. Ideal volunteers are consistent, committed, creative, and flexible.
